Chris and I were able to go shooting Saturday, however, Boyd wasn't loving his ear protection so I got to sit in the car most of the time. :( So Chris took me out shooting again today. It was so much fun Chris was able to teach me a few more tricks about shooting...

Boyd just hanging out watching Mom and Dad... ( Is this child endangerment? )Its amazing, I actually stopped being stubborn and listened to Chris and his advice on shooting... I'll admit it... For the past year and a half I'd just point the gun in the general direction and go wild and miss EVERYTHING... (The Jolley method of shooting) :) And apparently if you actually aim the gun you can hit the skeet...

Nope, not child endangerment in the least...as long as you kept him protected, ear, eye, out of range for stray casings....yer good. ;) That's coming from a Mamma whose done this a time or two with her own little boys.... Now just wait, because when he starts talking, he's gonna start asking for a gun of his own. (When we got our boys Stann rushed out and bought 'em each a cricket (small child .22) and has been trying to figure out a way to engrave their names on them...no joke. My only stipulation - they not be allowed to shoot them until they're 5...and that's WITH HELP at all times.... :) You know. ;) Looks like you guys had a blast! (no pun intended...)

I love it! This takes me back to my gun-shoot'n' hillbilly roots. You guys are funny. And Laurie, you are getting really good. I am impressed. Nice job with the skeet. I forgot you have that automatic skeet thrower. The last time I went shooting was spring of 2003? I think. All you need are two german short hair pointers running away to complete the picture.
